Our air fryer Krups XL needs to be warmed up meaning literally warmed up before it will turn on. We stored it in the garage but it was cold so we placed it by the fireplace before we plugged it in. Then it worked. With the fireplace not in use anymore we resorted to leaving it on the sunny porch for a while. Lately we just remove the bowl and use a hair dryer to warm it up quickly and put it back in and it turns on right away.
