Clean your potatoes thoroughly by scrubbing them with the green scratchy side of a clean sponge (or whatever method you prefer). You can leave the skin on or off the potatoes!
Slice your potatoes as thinly as possible.
Soak your potato slices in cold water for 25 to 30 minutes.
After soaking, spread your potatoes out on a cooking tray, paper towel, or a cutting board (whatever you have handy). Either blot dry the potatoes or wait a few minutes for them to dry.
Now you can add some salt and virgin olive oil over the potato slices. The oil is optional.
Place your potato slices into your air fryer at 390 degrees for 20-25 minutes. The time can vary depending on your fryer so check them around the 20 minute mark.
Remove chips, allow to cool, enjoy!
